 Planning for Chinese New Year festivities is underway and we are hard at work to ensure that the ever-popular FCC-SoCal Chinese New Year tradition continues to be a favorite for all!

We are holding twin banquets on the first and last Saturdays in February – the 6th and the 27th.  Registration materials will be emailed out by the first of the year.  Chinese New Year falls on February 14th and the Golden Dragon Parade will be on February 20th.

We first time committee members want to ensure that the event we all have come to love continues to run smoothly and be a blast for our kids.  For that reason, we are concentrating our efforts on the banquet and the entertainment. If there is to be a silent auction or a raffle, we need one of you to head it up.  Last call! It could be you that runs this fun part of the evening!  Unfortunately if no one steps forward in the next few weeks, then we will forgo the raffle and silent auction, at least for this year.

One last request --
We ask that if you have a group of ten people set for your table, please send one registration form and the checks in one envelope.  And to help us first timers, if you have groups wishing to sit at adjacent tables, please submit multiple table reservation forms in a single mailing.  It will be far easier to group tables together if multiple registration forms are sent in one packet rather than arriving on staggered dates. Separate checks are fine.  Of course, you can always send in an incomplete table and we will assign other folks to complete the 10.  It's always a great way to meet other FCC families.
