The mission of the Museum is to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of America's diverse heritage by researching, preserving, and sharing the history, rich cultural legacy, and continuing contributions of Chinese Americans. It strives to become a primary educational resource for the diverse communities of Los Angeles through exhibits and educational programming. FCC families enjoy attending the annual Lantern Festival and other events.

Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens sits on 113 acres in the heart of Griffith Park and boasts an average annual attendance of 1.3 million visitors. Since first opening its doors in 1966, the zoo has grown continuously through the years and presently houses species from every corner of the globe. More than 1,200 animals they live in environments that resemble natural habitats. Many newborn creatures can be seen in the Animal Nursery.
