FCC-SoCal

Don't know what to give grandparents, aunts, uncles and other special people for the holidays?  Bring the kids (ages 4 and up) to an art-making workshop led by professional art instructor Melanie Vogel.  Parents will have an opportunity to order gifts made out of your child's own artwork, and kids will have a great time expressing their creativity!

1:00 - 2:15 pm Art Workshop #1 for 4-7 year olds.
2:30 - 4:00 pm Art Workshop #2 for 8 years and up

A table with art supplies will be available for the littlest (3 and under) kids who can't sit through a formal workshop.  There is also a playground outside where parents can supervise their little ones at play.

The Art-Making Workshops, including the workshop and art supplies, are free to all FCC members.  However, participants will be asked to order one gift from the Original Works company (at $3 and up).

The non-member price for the event is $5 per child.

Melanie Vogel has 14 years experience teaching art to children. In addition to her ongoing work with All the Arts for All the Kids in the Fullerton schools, she has been director of the Cal State Fullerton Children's Summer Art Camp since 2002, and currently teaches art education to undergraduates at Cal State Fullerton.
