FCC Teen/High School Programs

FCC-SoCal

Do you have a teen who seems to have lost interest in FCC but might like hanging out with a really neat bunch of college kids?  If so, we would love to hear from you.

The relationship between FCC and the UCLA China Care club has been beyond successful.  It has provided wonderful friendships and role models for many FCC kids.  Now, both China Care & FCC are ready to spin off one or more programs for our older FCC kids.

If you have a teen (age 13+in September) please email me at your earliest convenience, just to indicate you MIGHT like to be involved.  Depending on response, a teen/high school program will begin in the fall with activities (likely “drop-off” in nature )for our kids and some of the college kids that will be planned and executed by the kids who participate.  (You can anticipate about four or five events spread throughout the school year.)

In addition, we will also be attempting to develop a middle school group and we would like to invite you to let us know if your middle-school kid (grades 6, 7 & 8 in September) would be interested in participating in that program.

A response is not a commitment, it is merely an expression of interest that will help us plan and enable us to invite you/your teen to help plan with us so please respond to Susan ASAP as we anticipate having some preliminary conversations/meetings with China Care during the next week or two, before the students leave for summer vacation.

You can respond directly to Susan at: [email protected].
